Low Water – Full Mix (1:01:31)

A note on listening: This is a headphones-only piece. The binaural effect requires stereo separation, through speakers, you’ll hear music; through headphones, you’ll hear the frequency. Lie down if you can. Let the whole album play without interruption.

A Single Frequency, Held

Most of our binaural work moves, theta into delta, delta into gamma, chasing the listener through states. This one doesn’t move. Low Water holds a single 6 Hz theta frequency for its entire runtime, unbroken, from first breath to last silence.

We built it this way on purpose. The brain doesn’t need to be pulled somewhere new every few minutes, sometimes it needs one place to stay. This is a held space, not a journey. A sustained descent into meditative depth, letting the frequency work the way theta actually works: slowly, quietly, without asking the listener to keep up.

The instrumentation stays as sparse as the frequency is steady, kalimba and mallet tones with long decays, wordless breath and hum, water and wind carried in from [location/field recording source], a single harmonic lift near the album’s center before it settles back down and fades to nothing. Nothing here is meant to be noticed. It’s meant to be felt underneath.
