Make sure to wear your 2D Glasses as this mess is FLAT
I’m not picky. Cinephile? OK, yeah. I dig movies, especially Sci-Fi of all sorts. So, if you told me there is a new movie about the I.S.S. and throw in the classic Cold/Hot -War theme, you had me at “I.S.S.”
No. Hard no.
I watched this last night.
Train wreck is an understatement.
If you are into MST3K, or comedy in general, it could at least amuse you.
I actually Googled, “Is I.S.S. a comedy?” afterward.
Bewilderingly bad.
It starts off convincingly well but, sweet Baby Ray, it just spirals into the depths of Dante’s concentric circles of cinematic hell.
Possibly the laziest writing ever to grace the 16:9 screen.
Don’t even get me started on the ending.
Wow.
Here’s the trailer:
Tensions flare in the near future aboard the International Space Station as a worldwide conflict breaks out on Earth. Reeling from this, the astronauts receive orders from the ground: take control of the station by any means necessary. Director Gabriela Cowperthwaite, working with Nick Shafir’s Blacklist script, brings together a stellar cast that includes Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, Pilou Asbaek, John Gallagher Jr., Costa Ronin, and Masha Mashkova, in a high-stakes thriller set entirely in the confines of the I.S.S. as astronauts are called to duty in fateful and terrifying ways.
Ahem.
Here is the IMDB page, where it currently is rated 5.3/10: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13655120/

Don’t believe me. Don’t believe the gracious reviews. Screen this rare gem yourself. And, yeah, if you live in a state where it is legal, gather some friends, indulge like mad, and witness some of the best bad ever.
