Adapted Viewing for Local Elementary School Students
West Deptford High School organized an exclusively adapted viewing for students from Green-Fields Elementary School. This special arrangement allowed children with sensory issues to experience a live musical in a comfortable environment.
Sensory Needs Consideration
The production was tailored to meet the sensory needs of the audience. Precautions were taken, such as introducing the dragon puppet before the show to prevent surprises. Additionally, adjustments like strobe lights and fog machines were modified to suit the audience’s requirements.
