Usually, my collaborator JJ and I are bouncing ideas back and forth in the studio. This time, JJ handed me the controls with total creative freedom—zero constraints, zero limits. Grain & Substratum is what happens when you push Google Flow Music to its absolute edge.

I wanted to build something deeply tactile: organic acoustic guitar grains rubbing against subterranean sub-bass and micro-glitch chops. It shows what’s possible when you let the studio tools dig deep into texture, space, and movement.
