AI-Gen Multimedia Project – Echoes: A Journey Inside Home

I used a new AI platform which proved to be less than advertised, but once I started noticing aberrant captions, watermarks, etc., I was either too stubborn or lazy to find and use a better solution. This project is intended to be experienced as a whole. Growing up, my band-mates and I were obsessed with “Concept Albums,” LPs of songs that share a theme, or narrative arc, be it musical, lyrical, or any combination. I guess I never fell out of love with Concept Albums. Try to take in the mix in one sitting, then download the free files as you might want, but be sure to carve out a 61:25 minute block of time to encounter Echoes: A Journey Inside Home as intended.

I have been pushing the limits with Meta AI’s Llama 3 recently. If you are interested, check out the strong collaborative, quasi-organic start we had, and then not so much. One of the last things I asked was for a text prompt for a song. No direction from me. Carte blanche. I was intrigued with the response:
I took and ran with it, building somewhat of a story line. Typical English major. This is the result, one of which I am unusually satisfied, mostly; I’m my worst critic. I first ran a brainstorming batch of Gen AI images, which inspired me, and the story wrote itself. Or was it previously written? Let me know. Damn sub-conscience.
