Despite their enduring spirit, they now face the brutal weight of military violence, simply for desiring what every human being deserves: dignity, autonomy, peace, and freedom.
We do not approach this topic from afar with empty words or abstract sentiments. We are pragmatic. We believe that solidarity must be expressed not only in speech but through action, through creation, sanctuary, and connection. Our music is a gesture, a salve, a signal; you are not alone.
You are seen.
You are loved.
TATANKA extends a hand not only to musicians, composers, and singers, but to all Iranian creatives including writers, dancers, visual artists, thinkers – builders of beauty in all its forms. And beyond the creative community, we offer our path and our Sanctuary Program to every human in Iran who seeks options when choices feel impossibly narrow. We hope to be a portal — a safe way out, a new way forward.
TATANKA is more than an initiative. It is a living ethos. We are LOVE. We believe that love conquers all. And even if all we can offer is a song, a moment of refuge, or a single heartbeat of connection, let it be known: our work is an enduring expression of love for the people of Iran.
